Our operations department will provide support to you from the outset

As a management franchise, we know that many new franchisees to our business don’t have cleaning experience and knowledge.  Our operations team will provide all the initial support you need, from visiting potential customers with you, to helping submit quotations.

We will also guide you through how to manage your business to make it as operationally efficient as possible. We advise on how to manage contracts, recruitment and staffing levels.

Any new health & safety and employment law legislation is supported centrally, so you’ll always be informed about how to remain compliant. We also offer accredited staff training, to make sure you and your staff are kept up to date with the latest cleaning techniques and standards.  

Ian Hadley

Head of Operations

Ian is a Licenced BICSc* Assessor (LBICSc) and Minster Cleaning is an accredited training organisation. He is a full member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association. Ian is responsible for the franchise network operations and training, national and regional accounts, inter-territory business development and operational audits. Ian has over 35 years’ experience within the cleaning industry including 19 years as a franchisee with Rainbow International. He joined Minster Cleaning in this new position in 2014.

Frequently Asked Questions

All our franchisees source their own cleaning products.  We have found that often, local suppliers can offer discounts that national suppliers don’t.  Franchisees also build relationships with their local suppliers. Some franchisors will only allow their franchisees to buy products directly from them, and they use this as extra revenue stream.  We don’t do this.  You can choose whoever you like and buy from wherever you like, and we will provide guidance and support if needed.

We use an external provider / platform that you will have continued access to, and our Head of Operations is always at the end of the phone.  The two combined mean that you will always get the answer you need.

This is covered in your initial training at our Network Support Centre.  We also encourage you to spend time with an existing franchisee which would include going out and quoting for new business.  Our Head of Operations will come out to your branch if you require and help directly with this.

Minster Cleaning are an accredited training centre for the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and many of our staff have achieved the Licence to Practice accreditation.  Our Head of Operations is also a Licensed BICSc Assessor.  We can provide training for you and your staff at your branch if required, and we also put on courses through external providers.
